How to get there?
Ada Bojana is located just couple of kilometers from Ulcinj city, the most southern city in Montenegro, near the border with Albania. To get to Ada Bojana from our capital, Podgorica, you can get a taxi ride which will take about 1.5 hours. There is a possibility of taking a bus to Ulcinj, and then a taxi to Ada Bojana. The third way is to book a tour with us.

On one side of Ada Bojana Island, you will find wooden houses which you can rent. The houses are all different, from upscale luxury houses to a more simple ones. If you want to stay in this area, we can suggest you the best options, and if you are wondering how many days would be ideal here, anywhere from 2 to 3 nights in one of the houses would allow you to immerse completely in the nature. The island is a silent zone – so no loud music after 22h.

Just across the island, you will find Velika Plaza, with 12 km of fine sand, trendy beach bars, bohemian atmosphere, amazing food, and world-renowned DJs and parties. The locals also refer to it as Ada Bojana, so you will never be sure as to which area exactly they are referring to. We would best describe this part of Montenegro as one with a Brazilian vibe.
The best activity you can do here? Kitesurfing! The water is shallow, and the wind is strong for at least a part of the day, which makes for an ideal spot for kite surfers and windsurfers, especially the beginners.
Unlike many other places in Montenegro, Ada Bojana remains largely undeveloped and uncommercial zed, providing an authentic experience for visitors.
